The Menu: Neon Edition

Category: The Menu

And we’re finally back with our Thursday series, “The Menu!”

Today we have an oldie, that’s too good not to revisit. Ces & Judy’s was invited to create a one-of-a-kind menu for “neon-themed” Market Mixer, put on by The Knot Wedding Network. The 2013 event was held at the Soulard Preservation Hall to host the very best of the St. Louis event and wedding industry. In collaboration with Proposing DreamsForte Photography & Cinema, Rockstar DJs, The Aries Company, belli fiori, The Cakery and a few other spectacular vendors, we turned the Hall into a blacklight ballroom for the evening.

To fit the theme, we had some fun coming up with a neon yum-tastic menu, which was as fun to display as it was to eat. Here were the eats for the evening:

Our famous Praline Brie with Housemade Salted Caramel and Sweet Pecans

Caprese Skewers – Tomato, Mozzarella and Basil with Olive Oil

Mini Goat Cheese Grit Cakes

Lamb Lollipops

Plum BBQ Shrimp Shooters (We had fun with these!)

Feta Cous-Cous Cups

Marinated Beef Skewers (a crowd favorite)

Our even MORE famous Candy Bacon with Parmesan Cream and Balsamic Drizzle

Blackened Chicken with Goat Cheese, Avocado Orange Salsa

Thank you to The Knot and all of the vendor sponsors, as well as the vendor attendees! We had such a great time mixing and mingling with the best! It’s all for you, St. Louis – connecting and establishing new vendor relationships is what makes us all better able to serve our wonderful clients!

Lights out!
